1. Mix one dose of lightening powder with oxidant in a ratio of 1:1.5 or 1:2, depending on the desired level of lift, in a non-metallic bowl.
2. Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair using disposable gloves.
3. Leave the lightener on the hair for up to 50 minutes, checking every 5 minutes.
4. Once the desired lift is achieved, rinse the hair thoroughly.
